Tasting Note
The wine spends 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new to impart texture, flavour and marry the wine together. Resulting in an elegant wine, full of honeysuckle, jasmine, orange peel and citrus fruit. It's soft and rounded with great texture and richness balanced by minerality and acidity on the finish. That slightly minty, sage note really speaks to its high mountain terroir. It is full-bodied and mouth-filling with wave after wave of creamy ripe fruit flavours, high quality oak nuances and beautiful cleansing acidity.

Producer Info
Paul Hobbs established Vina Cobos in 1999, 10 years after falling in love with the Mendoza region on a road trip. He first started experimenting with wild fermentation Chardonnay before also starting to grow Malbec.
The Zingaretti vineyard is a traditional Argentine, cane pruned site with vines averaging 80 years old, clay, sandy soils are perfect for growing high quality Chardonnay.
