The grapes for this Primitivo are grown around Leverano in the heart of Puglia’s Salento Peninsula, where hot Mediterranean sunshine and cooling sea breezes help create beautifully ripe fruit while retaining freshness and balance. Winemaker Stefano Chioccioli combines traditional vineyard practices with modern winemaking techniques to craft expressive, fruit-forward wines with real regional character.

How it’s made:

• Varieties: 100% Primitivo
• Hand-harvested at optimum ripeness for concentration and depth of flavour
• Gently destemmed to preserve the quality of the grape skins
• Cool fermentation at 22–24°C with regular pump-overs for colour extraction and soft tannins
• Aged for 5 months on fine lees to add texture, roundness, and complexity
