Description
xDomaine Christian Bellang has roots in Meursault going all the way back to 1789, Christian took over from his parents in 1974 and together with his son they now run an estate of 9 hectares stretching across Meursault, Savigny les Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and Beaune, with vines averaging around 30 years across the estate.
The Meursault is vinified in oak barrels, around 25% of which are new and aged for between 15-18 months to add depth, texture and complexity whilst allowing the wine to settle and the flavours to marry together. This is classic Meursault in style, rich and toasty from the oak ageing with ripe stone fruits, balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish. This is a wine that will continue to age for up to 10 years in cellar.
