Highgate Shiraz Organic, 13% Australia

A proper, no-nonsense Shiraz – big on flavour but smooth and easy-going enough to crack open on a weeknight. You get all those juicy black fruits, a bit of spice, and just the right amount of oak to give it some structure

False Bay, Old School Syrah, 13.5%, South Africa, Vegan

A ripe, juicy Syrah with bramble fruits and a meaty, savoury spiciness. Medium-bodied and easy to drink with fine tannins and refreshing natural acidity. Made with wild yeast fermentation and ageing in large French oak foudres.

Vigneti del Salento, 'I Muri' Negroamaro, 13%, Italy, Vegan

Bold? Tick. Spicy? Double tick. This is velvety, with good balance and savoury notes on the finish. This is the kind of moreish wine that keeps drawing you back in for another sip.

Cline Cellars, 'Old Vine' Lodi Zinfandel, 13.5%, USA

A bold and jammy Zinfandel with ripe black cherry, raspberry and wild strawberries with coffee and chocolate notes. The palate is juicy and round with bags more fruit combines and spicy notes of star anise and clove. The tannins are soft and there's just enough balancing acidity. It is very more-ish.

Domaine Burle "Est-ce Que" VdP Vaucluse, 14% France

A very charming red from a top producer of Gigondas in France's Rhone Valley. It's been a big staff favourite as we've all fallen for its ripe fruit and generous character. If you like bold and spicy wines, give this a go with some slow cooked lamb.

Lots of intense plum and cherry aromas with a floral hint typical of the Uco Valley, soft and juicy on the palate. Bold ripe fruit, powerful delivery, a good lick of oak, persistence on the finish and good juicy freshness throughout.
